Arthur Lee (1881-1961) Norweigan-born American sculptor.

Arthur Lee was a sculptor who worked in Paris before coming to the United States. He exhibitied at the famous Armory Show in New York in 1913. He is in the collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Brooklyn Museum, amongst many other institutions.
The sculpture reproduced on this page is an original life size work titled "Volupte." The material is pink Carrara marble and the height is 42 inches. Weight is approximately 600 lbs. It was in the sculptor's personal collection for most of his life, before entering a private New York collection.
